An invitation to explore the healing potential of Reiki
Reiki is a gentle energy healing modality that is traditionally practiced through the laying on of hands. The word Reiki comes from the Japanese words Rei, meaning universal or spiritual, and Ki, meaning life force energy.
A Reiki attunement is a process through which a Reiki teacher introduces the student to the practice and helps them develop a deeper connection with Reiki energy. It is not about learning to “give” someone something that they do not already have. Rather, it is an invitation to become more aware of the subtle energy within and around us, and to cultivate the ability to work with it consciously.
Reiki is traditionally understood as a holistic practice that can support wellbeing on physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels. For many people, Reiki becomes a pathway towards greater relaxation, self-awareness, inner balance and a deeper connection with themselves.
The Reiki training is offered in four levels. Under the Traditional system of Reiki, as practiced under the lineage of International Centre for Reiki Training (ICRT), basic training for Reiki is given in two levels. Advanced Reiki Training involves two more levels. Each level includes an attunement as well as practical and experiential learning.
Reiki Level 1 — Self-Healing
September 10, 2026
9:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Energy Exchange: INR 7,000 + 18% GST
Reiki Level 1 is primarily an introduction to Reiki and is centred around self-healing and personal practice.
During the day, you will be introduced to the foundations of Reiki, its philosophy and principles, and the practice of working with Reiki energy through your hands. The attunement opens the doorway to developing your own Reiki practice, allowing you to begin incorporating Reiki into your everyday life.
The focus of Level 1 is learning to turn inward — to slow down, become more aware of yourself, and develop a regular practice of offering Reiki to yourself.
The day will include both theoretical understanding and hands-on practice, giving you the opportunity to experience Reiki directly rather than simply learning about it intellectually.
Level 1 is suitable for you if you would like to:
Reiki Level 2 — Working With Reiki for Others
September 11, 2026
9:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Energy Exchange: INR 9,500 + 18% GST
Reiki Level 2 takes your practice deeper and introduces additional Reiki practices and techniques for working with others.
While Level 1 establishes the foundation through self-practice, Level 2 expands your understanding of Reiki and its application beyond yourself. It is traditionally associated with working with Reiki for other people, as well as practices such as distant or absentee healing.
Level 2 also explores the use of Reiki in relation to intentions, goals and personal manifestations, encouraging you to work more consciously with your attention and intention.
The training combines the Level 2 attunement with an experiential exploration of the practices, allowing you to develop greater confidence in working with Reiki both for yourself and for others.
Level 2 is suitable for you if you would like to:
A Day of Learning, Practice & Experience
Both days are designed to be immersive and experiential. Along with the teachings and attunements, there will be opportunities to practise Reiki, experience the modality directly and explore how it can become part of your everyday life.
You do not need to approach Reiki with any particular belief system. The training offers a space to learn, experience and explore the practice for yourself.
Lunch will be provided on both days.

Ktien Hima believes that the universe, in its infinite wisdom, brings each of us exactly the experiences we need, at the precise moment we are ready to receive them. For them, Reiki was one such gift from Life - an experience that has deeply empowered, transformed, and guided them on their journey.
For Ktien, Reiki is much more than a healing modality. It is a spiritual experience, a path of self-discovery, and a way of life.
They have been practising Reiki for nearly twenty years and sharing it with others as a teacher for the past three years. Over the years, their own journey has taken them through a range of holistic practices, each offering a different doorway into a deeper understanding of the self, energy, and the interconnectedness of all things.
They have studied and experienced Yoga, Tai Chi, Access Bars, acupressure, reflexology, and crystal healing, many of which naturally find their way into their work and practice.
Their journey eventually led them to create Aroha - a Māori word that means unconditional love. Aroha was born from an inner calling and from Ktien’s continuing curiosity about the mysterious and beautiful ways in which the universe works.
Through Aroha, they offer Reiki training at all levels, along with one-on-one sessions that include both hands-on and distance healing, wherever their journey takes them.
At the heart of Aroha is a simple intention: to serve humanity through unconditional love.
Ktien believes that beneath the identities, stories, beliefs, and differences that appear to separate us, there is an essential unity that connects us all. Their hope is that through Reiki and the touch of Aroha, each person may begin to move beyond their perceived limitations, reconnect with their own inner wisdom, and experience a deeper sense of connection - with themselves, with others, and with Life itself.
